To Other Men who Lead (Like Me),

Years ago, I took a week away in the heart of the Colorado mountains to find my bearings so I could be a better leader at home and in the marketplace. Every time, the experience was profound. I began inviting a few others, and the impact multiplied for them and me. Eventually, we gained access to a larger place that could accommodate more (and feed us), and the impact grew again.

I want to invite you to join us for the 7th Annual Lead Bulletproof - Men's Elite Leadership Summit. It's a mouthful, I know, but this is an event you don’t want to miss. This year's summit will be held in April 2025 (see dates below). Our theme, "RISE UP - BE ELITE," is centered on answering who we are called to be and living that out with excellence.

As leaders, there are days when the chaos feels stronger than the calm. It’s part of the job. But great leaders find the reset and rise again—it's what makes them elite. We designed this powerful week for both reset and readiness. The bullets might fly, but we are called to withstand them—and help others do the same. Join me and other incredible men who have your back.

This 5-day retreat in the heart of the Colorado Rockies is for like-minded leaders who need their cup filled. You’ll be surrounded by breathtaking mountains and a brotherhood of men who understand the demands of leadership.

At this summit, we've stripped away typical leadership training PowerPoints. Here, you’ll hear from real men, facing real challenges, called to lead—and committed to leading better.

Each day is structured around a clear focus, with ample time for food, fellowship, and "free time." When was the last time you had that? There’s something special about these mountains—and the men who come to be here. That free time is sacred and recharges the battery, and the brotherhood that forms lasts a lifetime.

Don’t miss this opportunity.

Seating is limited. Sign up as soon as you can. I promise, it will be an incredible experience.

Let’s RISE UP and BE ELITE!

Here are a few more reasons to come.

Need a Reset?

Our summit is intended primarily as a place to get rested, realigned, and resilient.  The masterminds, and various opportunities for connection with others will offer you the encouragement and insight you might need, or you might be able to offer someone else. Anticipte renewed clarity on vision and strategy.

Want to Explore?

When you are in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, you discover more than a handful of opportunities to explore and experience adventure. There's hiking, fishing, indoor rock climbing, golfing, mountain biking, hot springs, and more. Every excursion creates a great opportunity for connection.

Inspired to Write?

Our summit includes optional time for you to focus and create if you desire. In fact, there are others coming (leaders) who are planning to seize upon the quiet time out in the mountains and write content during the mornings or afternoon blocks.

Led to Share?

Our summit includes "Stories by the Fire", which is a TedX like event for thought leaders to share a message, or deliver maybe that signature speech you are working on. Spring Canyon provides the perfect setting, with a captive audience.

Travel Schedule

We encourage you fly in to Denver on Sunday, April 20th or first thing Monday morning on the 21st.  Monday, we start our adventure gathering for lunch at the iconic Gaylord Rockies starting at 11am.. Then at 2:00 pm we depart (via ride share) for a short field trip stop at an iconic location before we continue on to our home for the week,  Spring Canyon Retreat Center in Buena Vista, Colorado camp, which is nestled at the foothills of the mountains.  We head  back to Denver mid morning on Friday April 25th.  Look to catch a flight late afternoon  Friday or the over the weekend. We will be working a special deal for a hotel near the airport Sunday night and Friday night for those that need it.

This year we're taking it one step higher!

Last yer we dove into the topic of what it takes to live bulletproof. This year we explore what it takes to elevate leaders around us.

Let's face it, as leaders we are called to raise other leaders.  How are you doing in that department?  Do you want to take it up another level?

If so, you don't want to miss this years event. Get near other leaders who have a desire to develop not just themselves but others leaders.  This is the one event you don't want to miss.  We're nestled in the heart of the rockies. You will be lifted and encouraged, walking away with a fresh focus on the calling on your life to lead others.

It's also about helping others get bulletproof!

Imagine two worlds...

One world is filled with challenges and struggles. It's a world where you might experience frequent conflict and crisis. In this world you feel overwhelmed, tired, maybe even isolated or discouraged as a leader.

The other world, however, is filled with opportunities and is refreshing and invigorating. It's a world where you experience calm, clarity, courage, and confidence despite what's happening around you. In this world, you feel equipped; and prepared for the journey. You are ready to lead yourself and your team.

Both these worlds exist -- they are real. One is full of challenges, the other is full of opportunities. The first world is the default. It's what's chosen for us -- if we allow it. The second world, however,  is what it feels like to be bulletproof. It's not chosen for us, but we can chose it!

Being bulletproof is about being resilient, being clear, and being courageous.. And one way that I've discovered to get bulletproof is to get out in the mountains and find a place of quiet and reflection.  It creates alignment, and a feeling of connection:

  • connected to your faith
  • connected with your purpose
  • connected to your future

A few years ago I started inviting other men in leadership to join me in the mountains . These are men leading businesses, building brands, shepherding  churches, or equipping teams. They represent all walks of life, sharing a common bond of leadership, and the desire to shape the future.

Something profound happened to me personally beyond just a solo retreat. The connections I wanted, the clarity I needed, the courage I longed for - they were all multiplied. The bond and encouragement that resulted gave me and these other men a taste of what it feels like to be bulletproof. It's why we go back every spring.

This year we are expanding it. We know more leaders and leadership teams need this. And you are invited.

Think about it this way. Each day prepares us for the next. And this incredible week that we have planned in Colorado is intended to help you get bulletproof as a leader for the future.  Being bulletproof is a choice, and it can start by saying "yes" to this week.

A bulletproof future starts with a renewed you.

Why?

Because YOU are the primary player of your future. Your future can’t exist without you. That's why you need to lead bulletproof.

To "lead bulletproof" is a mindset -- and it's a lifestyle. I encourage you to block off this week and be intentional in coming. Recognize that when you are with just a few others who share common leadership values, you get more clarity, you find new levels of courage, and you start the next leg of your journey connected and supported.

Think about it. When you take a vacation, or you retreat away for a day, you want to come back restored, refreshed, and ready. Part of that “ready” is to have new insights. We can seize our future only by shaping our present. That’s why, becoming bulletproof matters.

This time in the mountains give us an opportunity to reset our intentions, to let go of our inhibitions, seize new beginnings, and, for those of Faith, to hear God's whisper.

I invite you to join me. Seating is limited. This is a private event and not officially advertised. There's a chance this price will go up soon, so book your spot now. We've kept the cost as low as possible so that it won't be a barrier. My friend Richard Mobley, (see his testimony below), has set up a link on to get you locked in today.

I’m so excited. Let's look forward to creating new memories that will last a lifetime. Let's get bulletproof as leaders!

Yours in Faith,
Paul

Once again we're taking it one step higher!

Last year we explored what it takes to face the mountain.  This year we explore what it takes to create greater impact.

As leaders we are called to raise other leaders no matter what our load. But sometimes we just hit a wall.  Sometimes we also experience something called imposter syndrome.  It's a real emotion that needs to be nipped in the bud.  You were made to make an impact.  You are called to lead.  But sometimes you just need a basecamp to reset your bearings.  That's what Lead Bulletproof is all about.

You don't want to miss this coming years SUMMIT. Get near other leaders who have a desire to develop not just themselves but others leaders.  This is the one event you don't want to miss.  We're nestled in the heart of the rockies. Even leaders need a reset

Let's face it, as leaders we are anxious for better. After 4 years of COVID, the challenges of business and life, and on the heels of Winter, it's going to be time for a reboot.

Think about it this way. My computer, every few weeks, needs to cycle through a reboot. It simply performs better when it does.  Without a reboot it lags, and never runs at its optimum. You and I are the same way.

A reboot brings clarity, courage, and connection.

Part of that clarity, courage and connection is centered on Vision. Vision for yourself, and vision for those that you lead. And, I'd like to think Vision from a higher source.  That's why I like to get out in the mountains.  I feel connected to God and get realigned with my purpose.

Wouldn't you like to join me?

Paul
